Terms of Service

By browsing this site, requesting a quote, or engaging Spectre for a project, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the site or purchase services.

Spectre provides freelance web development and design services, including template customization, custom websites, fullstack platforms, integrations, and related consulting. Scope, deliverables, timeline, and price are confirmed in writing (email or Discord) before work begins.

Published pricing tiers are starting points. Final quotes may differ based on scope, complexity, and timeline.

You agree to provide timely feedback, content, brand assets, access credentials, and decisions needed to complete the work. Delays on your side may extend the timeline. You are responsible for the legality of content you supply and for obtaining any licenses required for third-party materials you ask to include.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, projects are billed as a one-time flat rate. Payment terms (deposit, milestones, or full prepayment) are stated before work starts. Work may pause if invoices remain unpaid past the agreed due date.

Until full payment is received, Spectre retains all rights to deliverables. After full payment, you receive ownership of the custom work created specifically for your project, excluding third-party libraries, fonts, stock assets, open-source components, and Spectre’s pre-existing tools, templates, or know-how.

Spectre may showcase completed work in the portfolio, case studies, and marketing unless you request otherwise in writing before the project ends.

Revision rounds included in a project are defined in the written scope. Additional revisions or out-of-scope changes may be quoted separately. Deliverables are considered accepted if you do not raise material issues within seven (7) days of delivery, unless another acceptance period is agreed.

Services are provided in a professional manner. Spectre does not guarantee uninterrupted uptime of third-party hosts, APIs, or platforms, or specific business results (traffic, revenue, rankings).

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spectre’s total liability arising from any project or use of this site is limited to the amount you paid for the specific services giving rise to the claim. Spectre is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or lost-profit damages.

Either party may end an engagement if the other materially breaches these terms and fails to cure within a reasonable period after notice. Fees for work already completed remain due. Refund eligibility is described in the Refund Policy.

You may not misuse this site, attempt unauthorized access, scrape content at scale, or use it for unlawful purposes. Site content is provided for information; features may change without notice.

These terms are governed by applicable law in Spectre’s place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes should first be raised in good faith via the contact channels below.
